Cory Brown has been in the entertainment business since age 15. Born and raised in Springfield, Illinois, he began playing the piano at age 7. Playing the piano at church during his formative years, he has never stopped. Cory is now the Director of Music and Liturgy for the Dominican Sisters of Springfield, Illinois and also serves as Assistant Director of Music and A/V Ministry Director at Christ the King Parish in Springfield.
From the Illinois Governor's Mansion to Beale Street in Memphis, Cory has played all over the country. One of Cory's favorite hobbies is accompanying local musical theater productions. Cory's involvement in the arts has exposed him to how to put together a successful act, show or event. He began DJ'ing small events at 13, and weddings at age 15. Providing quality musical entertainment is Cory's true passion. Cory is a Licensed Funeral Director in Illinois and worked in funeral service for 13 years before accepting the Director of Music and Liturgy position for the Dominican Sisters. He continues to apply his skills of care, precision and accuracy from his former professional life to his entertainment business, as well. Cory is a local philanthropist and enjoys giving back through his involvement in the community. |
